FAQ
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
No — it needs a text layer. Scanned pages are images; OCR is planned for our backend service.
How are headings detected?
By relative font size: text clearly larger than the document's body size becomes a heading, larger still becomes H1.
Are tables converted?
Not reliably yet — table cells come out as plain lines. Complex table extraction is on the roadmap.
Is my document uploaded?
No — extraction and conversion run locally in your browser.
