Cookies Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
pdfnest keeps cookies to the minimum needed to run the site. This page lists every cookie and storage key we use.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. They are commonly used to keep you logged in, remember preferences or track behaviour across sites.
2. What we use
locale — a first-party cookie set only when you choose a display language with the language switcher. It stores the language code (for example “zh”) and expires after one year. Without it the site simply falls back to your browser's default language.
Session storage (not a cookie) — the Sign PDF tool keeps your signatures, stamps and text in sessionStorage so you can reuse them without re-uploading during a session. It is cleared automatically when you close the tab.
3. What we do not use
No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no social-media pixels, no fingerprinting, and no third-party cookies at all. Because there is no tracking, there is no consent banner: the only cookie we can set is the optional language preference you trigger yourself.
4. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking our locale cookie has no functional impact beyond the site reopening in the default language.
5. Changes to this policy
If we ever add a cookie, this page will list it here first with a new “last updated” date.
